• Be inspired - to take social responsibility and inspire others to do the same
• Be focused - have a service project in mind and some specific group or community you'd like to work in that you feel would benefit
• Be committed - build a team of leaders to be trained
• Don't reinvent the wheel - contact a YLTP Coordinator who has already organized a training in the past and contact a teacher to come to your area
