YES! Camp Overview
Ages 14-17
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”
- Marianne Williamson
In the Art of Living's YES! Summer Camp teens between the ages of 14 and
17 get the opportunity to spend 10 days in a stress-free
environment in which to participate in the Youth
Empowerment Seminar (YES!), one aspect of the
Art of Living’s multi-pronged approach to effectively
eliminate stress, violence, aggression, and lack of
academic interest in today’s youth.
In combination with summer camp activities (music, hiking, arts and
crafts, etc), youth learn powerful tools to calm their
minds, channel their energy, and become inspired
to take responsibility for themselves and their
community. These stress-management tools include powerful breathing techniques,
yoga, and a unique rhythmic breathing program,
Sudarshan Kriya™, cognized by the Art of Living’s
Founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Shares Annelies Richmond, present
at the 2006 camp:
“The YES! Camp served as a showcase of what
the Art of Living provides youth – a powerful sense
of belonging, an experience of one’s full potential,
and direction in how to channel this feeling of
being stress-free into making a difference in one’s
community. |
